Bowwow will be in the neighboring room, inspect the rock to free it and bring it with you.

Once you have Bowwow, you can head east, in the Goponga marsh, and it will eat the plants that block your path between hedges in the water. Head to the door, he will devour the plants in front of you and you can go inside.
