The Conker developer believes about the Activision IP addresses that return under Xbox

In recent years, many of Activision Blizzard's most beloved franchises have been forgotten, since the publisher has paid more attention to the Call of Duty series. When Microsoft announced plans to buy Activision Blizzard, many fans were enthusiastic about the prospect of franchises such as Crash Bandicoot and Spiro The Dragon had another chance in life. It remains to be seen if that will be the case, but Chris Sever is skeptical, to say the least. The video game designer and the Voice of Conker The Squirrel tweeted that the story would suggest not in response to an article by Den of Geek that suggested that the disappeared franchises of Activision could return under Xbox.

The day of the bad skins of Conker launched for the first time in Nintendo 64 in 2001. A few months later, Microsoft bought the game developer, Rare Ltd., by Nintendo. In the process, franchises such as Banjo-Kazooie, Killer Instinct and Conker's Bad Fur Day fell under the Xbox umbrella. While a manned conker looked like a perfect mascot for the Xbox brand, Microsoft has almost forgotten him. It is not clear if the disappeared franchises of Activision will face a similar destination. Last year, Kodak asked Phil Spencer about the possibility of Rare franchises, and the Xbox chief responded that he leaves those decisions in the hands of Rare, giving them the freedom to create in whatever they want to work. Once the Activision Blizzard agreement is closed, Spencer may give the same level of freedom to its newly acquired studies. If teams like Toys for Bob decide that they want to stop working on annual Games from Call of Duty (as suggested), maybe those franchises could return. For now, it is understandable why people like Save can be skeptical.
