Xbox Series X: Microsoft paid for chip

In recent months, more and more Xbox Series S and some Xbox Series X consoles are available from dealers.

But how can that be, given the global scarcity for chips for electronic equipment.

Apparently, Microsoft has laid money for a chip priority last year to have more consoles in particular to the Christmas business.

This tells you at least in the new podcast of Xboxera.

There it says:

"In April [last year] I got a direct message in which it was said that Microsoft would bring many consoles to the market in the fall. And they did that, right? "

"Microsoft has paid for the chip priority in the factories, which is why we have seen so much more and now see so much more Xbox inventories... for me this is a smart investment."
