Certain Activision games will continue to go out on PlayStation

Marvel vs. Cap com 2: New Age of Heroes is a crossover fighting video game developed as well as released by Cap com. It is the 4th installation in the Wonder vs. Cap com series, which includes characters from both Cap com's computer game franchises and also comic book series published by Wonder Comics. Originally launched in Japanese arcades in 2000, the video game got ports to the Dream cast, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360, and also iOS gadgets over the period of twelve years. Following its launch, Cap com shed the use of the Marvel Comics license, placing the series on a decade-long hiatus. In April 2010, Cap com announced the advancement of a sequel, Marvel vs. Cap com 3: Destiny of Two Worlds, which was later on launched in February 2011.

The purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft left us with a lot of doubts about the future of its franchises, especially in consoles outside Xbox . While it is easy to assume that a future all the IPS of this company will stay at Xbox , Phil Spencer affirmed that some of them will continue to be launched for PlayStation .

According to the report of Bloomberg , Microsoft will continue to support other systems, even if the content eventually becomes exclusive of Xbox .

PlayStation

Microsoft will continue making some Activision games for PlayStation consoles, but it will also maintain some exclusive Xbox content.

Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, also spoke about the plans that the company has regarding future games of Activision on other platforms:

The incredible franchises that Activision Blizzard has also accelerated our plans for Cloud Gaming, allowing more people in more places around the world to participate in the Xbox community using telephones, laptops and other devices. The Activision Blizzard games are enjoyed on a wide variety of platforms, and we will continue to support those communities in the future.

Because these statements focus more on mobile devices, it is clear that Spencer is not only talking about PlayStation . It seems that Xbox will continue to support existing launches, but the same we could not say about the future games of Activision Blizzard.

Editor's note: I think so, eventually the IPS of Activision Blizzard will end up being exclusive Xbox consoles which is obviously a strong blow for Sony and PlayStation. We will have to get used to that Call of Duty, Crash, Spiro and more will only be playable in Xbox soon.
